About me:
    I am so excited to be teaching at Tualatin High this year!!! I have been here "unofficially" for the last two school years as a student teacher and a long-term substitute in the social studies department.  What an amazing opportunity I have to continue learning and growing with great people (both students and staff)!  This year I am teaching IB Psychology and World History.
     I am a half-time teacher, which means I am only at the school on B days.  If you need to reach me on other days, you can email me at: ecardoza@ttsd.k12.or.us, but I prefer face-to-face visits when possible.  I also have 4th period prep.
I am originally from Central Oregon (Redmond), and visit my family (human and animal) there frequently. I have lived in the Portland metro area for two years now and love all the cultural activities there is to do around here (especially those that involve dancing).
     I LOVE to travel internationally and have been to Canada, Mexico, England, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, and Spain.  I also spent a semester learning in Siena, Italy.
     I am engaged to a wonderful man (also from Central Oregon) and am looking forward to our large wedding and Caribbean vacation next summer.
     In my spare time, I love training my handsome little furry baby (Tino), hiking, watching horrible reality tv shows (it's a weakness!), and inevitably, as a newly engaged and newly employed teacher, I will be doing a crazy amount of planning/organizing/thinking/improving all year.
